A classroom background. A book on the table.
Elias’s work with young people began with elementary-age groups at summer camp and continued into youth ministry and teaching mathematics, science, and technology.
That experience shapes the way he writes for teenagers. Roots & Mirrors gives readers a biblical passage, another life to consider beside it, and room to think through the connection.
In The Rise of Kingdoms, the story follows Samuel, Saul, David, and the people around them. The Resistance continues into Kings. Questions of loyalty, power, responsibility, and faith run through both books.
Root. Mirror. Move.
Each chapter begins with a true modern story, turns to the biblical passage, and examines the connection. Your Move brings the reading back to a choice the reader can make.
Scripture quotations use the ESV. The series is written for readers 13 and up; the sample chapters give families a way to judge the writing and subject matter for themselves.
