By creating an account or buying from rootsandmirrors.com, you agree to these terms. Please read them, especially the license section, which governs how you may use the lessons you buy.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Provide accurate information, and let us know if you suspect unauthorized use. Accounts are for adults 18 and older.
Purchases and access
Lessons are digital products delivered as downloadable PDFs to your account. When your payment succeeds, the lessons you bought become available to download from your account. Prices are shown at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe.
Refunds
Because lessons are digital and delivered immediately, all sales are final and non-refundable once a file has been accessed or downloaded. If something is wrong with a file or you were charged in error, email us and we will make it right.
License to use the lessons
What you buy is a license to use the material, not ownership of the underlying content. The license depends on what you purchased:
- Lesson plan. You may use it to teach your own group. You may make working copies for your own teaching use.
- Chapter handout combo. You may reproduce and print the chapter for your own group only. You may not resell, redistribute, post publicly, or share the file or its printouts outside your group.
All lessons, chapters, and related materials remain the intellectual property of Roots & Mirrors and are protected by copyright. You may not resell, sublicense, or redistribute any purchased material except as expressly allowed above.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the site: no attempting to bypass payment or access controls, no scraping or bulk downloading, no uploading harmful content, and no using the materials in a way that infringes others' rights.
Disclaimers and liability
The site and materials are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roots & Mirrors is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Nebraska, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
